This is the control face, working. The hopper holds 120 RM 50 notes and two of them are fake. Press START and see what UV and MG catch.

START: Runs the stack. Press again to pause. Dropping notes in the hopper starts it on its own.
UV: Checks every note under ultraviolet light. Stops on a note that glows wrong.
MG: Reads the magnetic ink. Stops on a note that has none.
BATCH: Stops every 10 to 100 notes so you can band them. Set the size with + and −.
ADD: Keeps a running total across stacks instead of starting from zero.

EVERY NOTE, UNDER THE LIGHT

Rubber rollers pull one note at a time past the UV lamp and the magnetic head. A fake stops the machine with the note still on top of the stacker, so you know which one it is.
